Crating

Designing a crate for your special piece is an art in itself. Fremont Frameworks’ crates are designed for structural integrity with attention to detail. The real “art” comes when we design the interior of your box. We have full knowledge of the most current materials available, and we take great pride in securing your artwork and providing creative solutions to even your most difficult problems. Each crating solution is custom built in our professional wood working shop for the safety of each object.

Fine art packing requires an understanding of the unique vulnerabilities of each and every piece. We are able to offer a wide range of crating options including:

• Exhibition-museum quality, double-butted corners, MDO walls, ethafoam protection
• One-way-use of more economical materials while still protecting the integrity of your artwork, not meant for multiple uses
• Soft-wrap-using Bubble wrap and Tyvek, a simple added layer protection while transporting from one location to another, not recommended for high-end art or lengthy travel
